How do I play?
Tap anywhere on screen to flap. Avoid the obstacles, collect the floaty bits, ride the soft-edged sky as long as you can. There's no second control to learn.
Can I play offline?
Yes. Daydream Retriever is fully playable offline. No network connection is required for the game itself, cosmetic unlocks, daily runs, or local high scores. The only things that need a network are the optional tip jar and iCloud sync.
How do I restore my purchases?
Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore Purchases. StoreKit will re-grant any tip-jar entitlements tied to your Apple ID. There are no consumables, so a single restore covers everything.
Why won't the tip jar work?
A few common causes:
- Sandbox / TestFlight build: if you're on a TestFlight build, you'll be hitting Apple's StoreKit sandbox, which sometimes rejects purchases or runs slowly. Production App Store builds use real StoreKit and are reliable.
- iCloud not signed in: StoreKit needs an Apple ID. Settings → [your name] on iOS — make sure you're signed in.
- Restrictions: if Screen Time has In-App Purchases set to Don't Allow, the tip jar will refuse to load. Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → iTunes & App Store Purchases.
- Still stuck? Email us with the error message and your iOS version.
Does my progress sync between iPhone and iPad?
Yes, automatically, as long as both devices are signed in to the same iCloud account. Game state syncs via Apple's private key-value store. There's no Northland account to create.
How do I delete my data?
Uninstall the app. All local data is on-device. For iCloud-synced state: Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Daydream Retriever → Delete Data.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?

Is there a Mac / web / Android version?
Not currently. v1.0 is iPhone + iPad only.
